Journées dentaires internationales du Québec 2026

About the event
On the 56th edition of the Journées dentaires internationales du Québec, we invite you to an enriching and inspiring day dedicated to innovation, clinical performance, and the patient experience.
Dr. Lui Redigonda will open the event with two complementary presentations focused on the patient experience and communication in the dental office.
During the training session, “Beyond Straight Teeth: The Art of Patient Hospitality,” we will explore the difference between service and hospitality, and how a culture of hospitality can transform the patient experience. Participants will learn about the service cycle, the “Ten-Foot Attitude,” and service principles inspired by Disney.
The training session “Words At Work: The Power of Professional Communication” will explore the essential role of communication in the practice and its impact on patient trust and the quality of interactions, offering practical tools to improve daily practices.
The day will continue with a presentation by Dr. Barry Benton. During his presentation, “Designing the High-Performance Orthodontic Practice: An Integrated & Digital Approach to Damon Ultima & Spark”, we will explore Damon and Spark solutions to optimize your practice in the digital age. We will cover the fundamentals of the Damon Ultima system, indirect bonding, and software tools, illustrating everything with real-world clinical cases and interactive discussions.
We will also highlight the benefits for patients, particularly those offered by the passive self-ligating system, which promotes gentler movements and increased treatment efficiency, and conclude with an introduction to EtchFree, an innovation that provides optimal bonding reliability while preserving enamel, even in humid conditions.
These sessions will be presented in English.

His “WHY” is to inspire through education and service so that it can have a positive impact on the next generation. Born and raised in Toronto, Dr. Redigonda completed all ten years of his post-secondary education at the University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario. Practising as a dentist for five years gave Dr. Redigonda great insight into the day-to-day challenges of general dentistry.
