The purpose of this conference is to better understand the requirements for maintaining a patient record in the context of a treatment plan. In addition, other ethical issues will be addressed in order to equip the professional in his daily practice.

Finally, we will discuss some practical cases that have already been decided, in order to illustrate in concrete terms the importance of conducting oneself in accordance with the legal principles discussed during this conference.

Me Audrey Gagnon

Audrey Gagnon acts mainly in the field of professional liability and commercial litigation.

Mtre Gagnon regularly provides legal opinions for the prevention and resolution of disputes in these areas. A seasoned litigator, she also advises clients in the development and conduct of legal proceedings before the civil courts. Because of her particular expertise, the Quebec Professional Liability Insurance Funds she represents trust her to act in defense of their insureds, including dentists, lawyers, accountants and many other professionals. She also has relevant expertise in government relations.

Audrey is also actively involved in her community and in her professional order. She has many years of experience as a director of a number of organizations and associations. She was elected for a second term on the Board of Directors of the Quebec Bar. She was also elected vice-president of this professional order in June 2020.

She has also been recognized by the Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory in the area of corporate and commercial litigation.
