SUMMARY:Journées dentaires internationales du Québec 2026
DESCRIPTION:About the event \nOn the 56th edition of the Journées dentaires internationales du Québec\, we invite you to an enriching and inspiring day dedicated to innovation\, clinical performance\, and the patient experience. \nDr. Lui Redigonda will open the event with two complementary presentations focused on the patient experience and communication in the dental office. \nDuring the training session\, “Beyond Straight Teeth: The Art of Patient Hospitality\,” we will explore the difference between service and hospitality\, and how a culture of hospitality can transform the patient experience. Participants will learn about the service cycle\, the “Ten-Foot Attitude\,” and service principles inspired by Disney. \nThe training session “Words At Work: The Power of Professional Communication” will explore the essential role of communication in the practice and its impact on patient trust and the quality of interactions\, offering practical tools to improve daily practices. \nThe day will continue with a presentation by Dr. Barry Benton. During his presentation\, “Designing the High-Performance Orthodontic Practice: An Integrated & Digital Approach to Damon Ultima & Spark”\, we will explore Damon and Spark solutions to optimize your practice in the digital age. We will cover the fundamentals of the Damon Ultima system\, indirect bonding\, and software tools\, illustrating everything with real-world clinical cases and interactive discussions. \nWe will also highlight the benefits for patients\, particularly those offered by the passive self-ligating system\, which promotes gentler movements and increased treatment efficiency\, and conclude with an introduction to EtchFree\, an innovation that provides optimal bonding reliability while preserving enamel\, even in humid conditions. \nThese sessions will be presented in English. \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Registration\n \n \n \n \n \n Pricing\n\nQAO Members: $155\nNon-members from outside Quebec: $385\n\n \n Register\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Meet the Speakers\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Dr. Lui Redigonda\nFor the last 30+ years\, Dr. Redigonda has been making a difference so that lives can be enriched. His “WHY” is to inspire through education and service so that it can have a positive impact on the next generation. Born and raised in Toronto\, Dr. Redigonda completed all ten years of his post-secondary education at the University of Western Ontario in London\, Ontario. Practising as a dentist for five years gave Dr. Redigonda great insight into the day-to-day challenges of general dentistry. He is an Adjunct Professor at the Western University’s Graduate Orthodontic Program and is part of two mentorship groups where he mentors young orthodontists and orthodontic residents. Passions include human interest skills such as leadership\, teamwork\, professional office communication\, office culture\, emotional intelligence\, and patient hospitality. Sports was his first love\, but this did not pay the bills.  \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Dr. Barry Benton\nDr. Barry Benton received his bachelor’s degree from Furman University while also lettering in baseball\, for all four years. He then earned his D.M.D. from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and received the Dental Academic Research Training (DART) Program Summer Research Award. \nAfter dental school\, Dr. Barry pursued his master’s degree and Certificate of Orthodontics at LSU in New Orleans and was awarded the J. Jerome Herbert Award\, as well as the James P. Bordelon\, D. D. S. Memorial Award. Shortly after graduation\, Dr. Barry successfully challenged the ABO clinical exam\, and at the time of certification\, he was one of the youngest orthodontists to achieve Board certification. \nDr. Barry currently holds an Adjunct Faculty position at UAB while also owning and working full-time in his orthodontic practice. In both facets\, Dr. Barry strives to instill a level of excellence in his residents and raise the standard of care with the patients he treats. Lastly\, Dr. Barry has always had an interest in technology\, and he is constantly pursuing and learning about the latest advancements and applications of technology to provide his patients with the best possible care. \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Thanks to our partner
