The main purpose of this conference is to explain the legal principles that apply when an orthodontist ceases to treat a patient, in terms of his or her ethical obligations and professional liability. A number of practical cases, which have already been the subject of court decisions, will also be presented, with the aim of identifying hidden pitfalls in your daily practice and promoting better risk management.

Registration is now open for the webinar entitled: “Patient Record Keeping and Other Ethical Considerations in the Development of a Treatment Plan”.
The purpose of this conference is to better understand the requirements for maintaining a patient record in the context of a treatment plan. In addition, other ethical issues will be addressed in order to provide the professional with tools for his or her daily practice.

The Quebec Association of Orthodontists and its Board of Directors are pleased to announce that a “6 to 8 cocktail” style meeting has been organized for residents.
It will take place on May 4 at the Buvette Pastek and all are invited.
During this meeting, you will have the opportunity to meet the residents.
This evening will not only be an opportunity for the residents to exchange with their peers, but also with Dr. Pascale Robitaille, president of the AOQ, as well as the members of the Board of Directors.
